Joyage is out now on all streaming platforms.

Joyage consists of eleven original songs birthed through pain, grief, hope, and joy. It is Matthew's first release since 2022 and stands as his fourth contemporary jazz album.

To fully express the heart behind the songs, Matthew brought a few friends along. Joyage includes appearances from some of the most talented singers and rappers on the planet who also happen to be very special people to him.

Close friend, Chattanooga- area vocalist Trey Suttles lends his wide vocal range on the 90's new jack swing- type tune "It's Better." First cousin (whose more like a sister) Nashville- based recording artist Kimberly Thomas fully and beautifully communicates a musical prayer on "Guide Me".

Hip- hop legend Dre Murray, who has publicly announced 2024 as his final year as an emcee, along with one of Matthew's close college friends, multi- talented engineer and artist Andre "Stump" Culpepper, both contribute verses on the final song, "The Substitute."

All mixes were done by one of Matthew's longtime friends, Atlanta- area engineer Braddon Calloway.

From beginning to end Joyage includes a mixture of tempos, instruments, synths, and, of course, Matthew's signature jazz piano styling.
