Matthew A. Thomas is the owner and founder.
With over a decade of experience in the music industry, Matthew has played piano and/or produced for renown artists, labels, and organizations including Billboard- charting gospel singer Judy Jacobs, Billboard- charting hip- hop artist Braille, 2Edge, The Suttles Family Legacy, Kimberly Thomas, and the Booth Museum of Western Art - a Smithsonian Affiliate museum, and more.
Raised in gospel, trained in jazz, and cultured in hip- hop, Matthew seamlessly blends these flavors into his work, creating a unique blend of musical capabilities.
His growing presence on social media, particularly through Instagram and YouTube, has led to high praise and interactions from music legends such as CCM group 4Him.
As an artist, Matthew has released four contemporary jazz albums: Melodensity (2019), Clothes & Right Minds (2021) - which reached 'Amazon Music's Top 10 in Jazz' upon its release, A New December (2022) and, most recently, Joyage (2024).
In addition to piano and production work, Matthew serves as Minister of Music at Community Fellowship Church, a role he has enjoyed since 2011 where he began by serving alongside his late father, Bishop Dr. Stephen A. Thomas.
Founded in 2019, Idavon Music is a music production company providing production and recording services to artists and projects spanning numerous genres.
